چکیده

The 2 × 2 Schlesinger system for the case of four regular singularities is equivalent to the Painlevé VI equation. The Painlevé VI equation can in turn be rewritten in the symmetric form of Okamoto's equation; the dependent variable in Okamoto's form of the PVI equation is the (slightly transformed) logarithmic derivative of the Jimbo-Miwa tau-function of the Schlesinger system. The goal of this note is twofold. First, we find a symmetric uniform formulation of an arbitrary Schlesinger system with regular singularities in terms of appropriately defined Virasoro generators. Second, we find analogues of Okamoto's equation for the case of the 2 × 2 Schlesinger system with an arbitrary number of poles. A new set of scalar equations for the logarithmic derivatives of the Jimbo-Miwa tau-function is derived in terms of generators of the Virasoro algebra; these generators are expressed in terms of derivatives with respect to singularities of the Schlesinger system.

UPPER BOUNDS FOR FINITENESS OF GENERALIZED LOCAL COHOMOLOGY MODULES

Let $R$ be a commutative Noetherian ring with non-zero identity and $fa$ an ideal of $R$. Let $M$ be a finite $R$--module of finite projective dimension and $N$ an arbitrary finite $R$--module. We characterize the membership of the generalized local cohomology modules $lc^{i}_{fa}(M,N)$ in certain Serre subcategories of the category of modules from upper bounds. We define and study the properti...

New multidimensional partially integrable generalization of S - integrable N - wave equation

This paper develops a modification of the dressing method based on inhomogeneous linear integral equation with integral operator having nonempty kernel. Method allows one to construct the systems of multidimensional Partial Differential Equations (PDEs) having differential polynomial structure in any dimension n. Associated solution space is not full, although it is parametrized by certain numb...

The exact solution of the Cauchy problem for a generalized ”linear” vectorial Fokker-Planck equation is found using the disentangling techniques of R. Feynman and algebraic (operational) methods. This approach may be considered as a generalization of the Masuo Suzuki’s method for solving the 1-dimensional linear Fokker-Planck equation.
